Wow, it’s been over a month since last posting. Hm, lots has been happening. I’ve been dating a guy (David) for about a month now. He’s a librarian at a local college, and also loves to do photography (he used to have a studio in Alabama). He’s from Alabama (obviously), and nine years older than me. We’ve been doing lots of stuff together. We went to the zoo, although we didn’t make it all the way through, we went on a day trip to La Bahia presidio and took lots of pictures (I’ve been loaned David’s old D100), we went down to Galveston and toured Moody Gardens.
Life has been rather busy lately with hanging out with David and the internship. Kim has started dating a door guy/bartender, so she’s been hanging out at the bar a lot lately. Ooh, and David got some free tickets to the local comedy club this past weekend, and it was a lot of fun. He got five tickets, so Brett, Michael, Kim, David and I went. I ended up pissing Kim off (she should realize by now that I’m a smart ass), but it was a great time. The second comedian wasn’t that good, but the headliner was the guy that does the voice for Dale Dribble on King of the Hill. He was hillarious.
My internship is going well, my job sucks as normal. I’m still having migraines, even after going on anti-seizure medication (apparently in low doses it helps with migraines). I’ve called the doctor, so we’ll see what he does now. He’s already increased my dosage once. Not sure what I’m going to do… I’ll post more later (I promise Melanie).
